Lamplighter’s Society: A 9 Session Series

You’ve been lost wandering in the woods, and through the trees you see a lantern glowing through the trees, a lantern calling you close and guiding your way. It is more than a relief, it is a beacon of hope. This 9 session series is designed as a way haven, a roadside inn, a refuge for those on their healing journey.

This is not simply a course of study or more notes to take. Inside a supportive group container that informs and guides, you will put knowledge into action. And you will light the lanterns for other who may yet follow on the path. Many of us, especially those of us with chronic, autoimmune or mystery illness know that making the simple, basic changes in day to day life necessary for healing is hard. We can’t do it alone. We shouldn’t have to do it alone. And we certainly shouldn’t have to fight so gosh-darn hard against the ever growing tide of ultra-processed food, toxic chemicals, disconnected medical specialists, social media nonsense and global trauma in order to do it.

Within an over-culture that is actively making us sick and thwarting our efforts of recovery at every turn, the act of true healing becomes a radical act of resistance.

This is not simply a support group, it is a Healing Group.

Together we will LEARN, GROW, and EVOLVE.

Each 90 min meeting will provide:

  • a friendly supportive community container for learning, conversation and personal growth

  • specific medical/science/biochemistry information about the health topic at hand

  • An emphasis on WHY it is important

  • Space for discussion on practical implementation, common challenges, pitfalls, strategies and comparing notes

  • A curated environment (bubble, oasis) within the F’dup over-culture that is making us sick

  • Options for homework, courageous vulnerability, group support and celebration

  • Handouts and resources to take home or follow up

This series is for any woman (or female identified person) struggling with any of the follow challenges:

  • Chronic illness of any sort

  • Any known or suspected autoimmune disease

  • Chronic Fatigue (ME/CFS), Fibromyalgia, Adrenal Fatigue

  • Hormone imbalances (PCOS, endometriosis, peri-menopause, infertility, etc…)

  • Trouble implementing foundational healthful routines and looking for positive community

  • Chronic stress and anxiety


9 Session Series Curriculum:

  • Session 1: Starting out on the right foot:

    • Chronic disease overview

    • Identity, purpose, meaning and mindset 

    • Listening to your body, trusting your body

    • What is your why?

  • Session 2: Food: Just Eat Real Food

    • Real food vs Processed food

    • Basic Foundational Nutrition

    • Cut out the CRAP

  • Session 3: Food: Gut Healing Diets:

    • Paleo, SCD, GAPs, AIP, etc..

    • What do I really need to do?

  • Session 4: Stress/HPA:

    • Internal stress temperament: HSP, empath

    • Boundaries and people pleasing

  • Session 5: Stress:

    • External Stressors: State of the world, politics, etc…

    • Our relationship and disposition to the global trauma

  • Session 6: Movement:

    • Daily activity, cardio for metabolic health, strength for muscle building 

    • The what, why and wherefore

  • Session 7: Toxins/Detox

    • Minimize exposures

    • Support Pathways of Elimination

    • Targeted Liver Support and the case for a “detox”

  • Session 8: Infections/Immune

    • Chronic infections: Lyme, EBV, Candida, etc…

    • Immune dysfunction

  • Session 9: Community: Sharing of Individual Stories
